Aya (organic part)
31 mars 2020

This research, which was carried out over a period of three years in the Peruvian Amazon, is taken from our latest project Aya (Editorial RM).
The experience in the Jungle allowed us to learn more about traditional medicines and to develop a printing technique based on the photosensitive properties of plants.
Working with indigenous communities, we identified several photosensitive plants from which we extracted the juice. The ecosystem of these plants is then revealed in images by its own organic emulsion, in contact with the sun.
All prints were made in the Amazon Rainforest.

A collaborative work with Arguiñe Escandón.
